Great day with Stone Gardening Club,  managed to make an obelisk, dragonfly and snail .... hooked now and can't wait to harvest my willow......how lucky we are to have a wet garden, just right for lovely willow and cornus, my new raw materials....

WAAG'11 - We've had some fun meetings....

WAAG'll has continued to meet, paint, draw, chat, eat cake and drink tea, share tips and generally have a good time meeting up and sharing our enjoyment of creating art.....

Today we host my Art Group friends....

Lovely sunny day, some sign of sketchbooks out..... tea and cake - of course!  Lots of lovely chatter, plant info sharing and compliments, thank you all.  Emma came over with little Rosa too, which was an extra treat for us all.

July and a steam train ...

One sunny July day and a trip on a steam train up into the Snowdonia Mountains, Blaenau Ffestiniog and over to Porthmadog.  Lots of photos, bought a few lovely brooches in the Gallery and ice cream - of course x

June and a day out with Penny ...

A visit to Patchings in Nottingham with Penny, a lovely treat and a painting workshop too.... A great picnic lunch, stock up with art supplies and ice cream - yum x

Visiting friends gardens - what a treat

Sylvia has a wonderful garden in north Shropshire, an absolute delight - did we actually sketch - did we heck - cake and tea, of course!!  In this photo, just one of the lovely views from Slyvia's beautiful garden, this one taken from the thatched summerhouse across north Shropshire......

Inspiration... our garden

Inspiration for me often comes from the natural world.  I absolutely love being in the garden, often the day starts with a walk in the garden, mug of tea in hand and maybe ten minutes of Yoga in the summerhouse still in my pj's - bliss

Pottery Bowl with Plums

My resolution at the start of the year was to be true to my creative self and produce more, whether that be textile pieces, mixed media, sketches or, as here, an oil painting....
